WEEKLY VERSE: Daniel 1:8 (ESV translation)
“But Daniel resolved that he would not defile himself with the king’s food, or with the wine that he drank. Therefore he asked the chief of the eunuchs to allow him not to defile himself.” – Daniel 1:8
MEMORIZATION BREAKDOWN:
Monday: PRAY the Lord will minister unto your spirit as you memorize His Word. Read Daniel 1:8 ten (10) times… look at EACH word and say the reference each time.
Tuesday: recite “But Daniel resolved that he would not” …50 times throughout the day.
Wednesday: recite “defile himself with the king’s food,” …50 times throughout the day and Daniel 1:8 “But Daniel resolved that he would not defile himself with the king’s food,” …another 50 times.
Thursday: recite “or with the wine that he drank.” …50 times throughout the day and Daniel 1:8 “But Daniel resolved that he would not defile himself with the king’s food, or with the wine that he drank.” …another 50 times.

Let’s fill up with the Word… and fill up with Jesus! Jesus seen in our eyes, speaking with our voice… filling us with faith and generous grace. It is the Word that imparts His wisdom, His peace, His power, His love. So let’s store up the Word in our hearts… Jesus beating in us and pouring out of us. Be filled! …Holly

MEMORIZE WITH ONE OR TWO PEOPLE …or memorize with your LIFEGroup. Having a partner to hold you accountable increases your probability of success and encourages more people to fill up with the Word.
