WEEKLY VERSE: Isaiah 9:6 ESV translation)

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. – Isaiah 9:6

MEMORIZATION BREAKDOWN:

Monday: PRAY the Lord will build your faith as you memorize His Word.  Read Isaiah 9:6 ten (10) times… look at EACH word and say the reference each time.

Tuesday:  recite Isaiah 9:6 “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given;” …50 times throughout the day.

Wednesday:  recite “and the government shall be upon his shoulder,” …50 times throughout the day and Isaiah 9:6 “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder,” …another 50 times throughout the day.

Thursday:  recite “and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor,” 50 times throughout the day and Isaiah 9:6 “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor,” …another 50 times throughout the day.

Friday:  recite “Mighty God, Everlasting Father,” 50 times throughout the day and Isaiah 9:6 “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father,” …another 50 times throughout the day.

Saturday:  recite “Prince of Peace.” 50 times throughout the day and Isaiah 9:6 “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” …another 50 times throughout the day.
