MEMORY TIP OF THE WEEK:
CONSIDER THE FRUIT…realizing the awesome benefits of knowing the Word will motivate us to put forth great effort into memorization!
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
God’s Word provides wisdom (Ps 19:7), correction (Heb 4:12), hope(Rom 15:13), comfort (2 Cor 1:3-4), assurance (Rom 8:39), victory over temptation (Eph 6:17), power over sin (Ps 119:11), God’s view of success (Josh 1:8), growth in Christ (John 17:17), blessing (Luke 11:28), guidance (Ps 119:105) and more! May we desire all of this enough to prioritize knowing the Word… Holly
“His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence, by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire.” – 2 Peter 1:3-4 (emphasis mine)

MEMORY TIP OF THE WEEK:
DEDICATE TIME TO MEMORIZING…and then determine to stick to this plan!
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Memorizing God’s Word takes a lot of setting our minds on the things of the Spirit (Scripture!)… this will surely encourage serving in the new way of the Spirit. Praying for this very result for us all… Holly
“But now we are released from the law, having died to that which held us captive, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit and not in the old way of the written code.” – Romans 7:6

MEMORY TIP OF THE WEEK:
SET THE VERSE STRATEGICALLY…so you will see it often (on the bathroom mirror, the dash of your car, above the kitchen sink, etc…). Say the verse each time you see it.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Meditating on God’s Word allows it to wash over us, cleanse us, refresh us, encourage, heal, teach and change us… change us to be more like He is. Desiring to behold His glory… Holly
“And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.” – 2 Corinthians 3:18
